The Era 300 uses a unified motherboard containing the SOC and the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo chip. A hardware failure in the communication module or a corruption in the onboard flash memory (NVRAM) prevents the speaker from initializing the Bluetooth pairing stack, resulting in an 'error' tone instead of the discovery light sequence. Replacing the PCBA restores the physical radio controller's ability to cycle through its software-gated discovery modes.
