Linear Module (Standard or High-Speed)
Internal mechanical binding occurs when the eccentric nuts on the carriage rollers are overtightened or the lead screw nut loses lubrication. This increases the resistive torque beyond the stepper motor's capability, causing the magnetic field to slip (stalling). Since these modules are sealed units containing the motor, lead screw, and rails, a full module replacement is the manufacturer-intended resolution.

Linear Module Cable
The X-axis cable on the Snapmaker 2.0 is prone to catching on the Z-axis towers or getting pinched during rapid movements. A momentary break in the multi-strand conductor during a snag causes a phase-loss in the stepper motor, resulting in an immediate stall and 'Module Stalled' error on the touchscreen.

Snapmaker 2.0 Controller (Mainboard)
The stepper drivers located on the main controller can overheat or suffer from MOSFET failure. If the driver cannot provide the necessary current to overcome the inertia of the linear module, the motor will stall even if the mechanical path is clear.
