Di2 Rear Derailleur Assembly
The internal DC servo motor and worm gear drive are the primary failure points when the unit fails to transition across the cassette. Persistent motor stalling against over-tightened limit screws or internal gear stripping after an impact leads to a failure of the mechanical linkage to engage. Since these units are hermetically sealed and sub-components are not sold by the OEM, a full derailleur assembly is the only reliable resolution.
