Water Seal Kit

This is the primary mechanical barrier between the water reservoir and the drive motor in nugget-style machines. Over time, calcium deposits score the ceramic mating surface or the rubber boot loses elasticity, allowing water to travel down the auger shaft. Because the evaporator is vertically oriented, gravity forces the escaping fluid directly to the base of the chassis.

Water Pump Assembly

In spray-style cuber machines, the recirculating pump utilizes a centrifugal impeller and a shaft seal. If the seal fails or the plastic impeller housing develops a hairline fracture from vibration, water will spray or drip onto the base pan during the freeze cycle. This often results in a leak that only occurs while the machine is actively attempting to make ice.

Float Valve and Reservoir Assembly

The reservoir maintains the water head pressure required for the pump or evaporator. If the float valve fails to seat properly due to mineral debris, the reservoir overflows into the internal drain pan; if the pan is misaligned or the reservoir housing is cracked, water bypasses the internal drainage system and pools at the base of the unit.
