Wi-Fi / Bluetooth Module

This is the primary hardware component responsible for wireless connectivity in Crystal UHD models. Internal failure of the module's transceiver IC often results in the TV being unable to detect wireless networks or failing to maintain a handshake with the router. Replacing this module is a standard field repair that restores the physical wireless communication layer.

Internal Wi-Fi Ribbon Cable

The ribbon cable connecting the Wi-Fi module to the main board can become brittle or develop micro-fractures due to the thermal expansion and contraction cycles of the TV panel. A faulty cable prevents the main logic board from communicating with the Wi-Fi hardware, causing the 'Wi-Fi is turned off' system loop. Replacing the cable ensures a clean data path for the control signals.

If the Wi-Fi module and cable are verified as functional, the failure typically resides in the network interface controller (NIC) or the voltage regulation circuit on the main board. The main board manages the network stack and IP assignment; a failure here prevents the TV from processing the data received from the wireless module. This is only recommended after the module and cable have been ruled out.
