Ice Maker Service Kit

This OEM kit is specifically designed to address the common freezing issues in Samsung RF series refrigerators. It includes a revised ice maker assembly with updated firmware/cycling logic and modified drainage hardware to prevent ice-over in the compartment.

Food Grade RTV Silicone Sealant

Required to seal the air gaps in the ice room housing. Even with a new ice maker, warm air ingress through unsealed seams will cause the new unit to freeze up within weeks; this provides the airtight barrier needed to stop condensation.

Ice Room Y-Clip and Drain Tube Update

Ensures that the defrost meltwater is correctly channeled out of the ice room. The original clips often fail to keep the drain path clear, leading to water pooling and freezing into a solid block at the base of the ice maker.
