Refrigerator Door Gasket (Left)

The door gasket is a magnetic vinyl seal that maintains the thermal boundary. A rip allows humid ambient air to enter the refrigerator cabinet, causing excessive frost on the evaporator and ice room components mentioned in the service bulletins. This specific part is the OEM replacement for the left-side fresh food door which frequently catches on the center mullion.

Refrigerator Door Gasket (Right)

This is the corresponding magnetic seal for the right-side refrigerator door. If the rip is on the right side, this component must be replaced to prevent air leaks that cause internal condensation and cooling inefficiency.

French Door Mullion (Center Flap)

If the gasket rip was caused by the door flap not retracting correctly, the mullion assembly may be the root cause. A failed internal spring or guide can cause the flap to strike the gasket during closure, leading to physical damage and tearing.
