Auto-Fill Water Pitcher Assembly

The pitcher lid contains critical magnets that must align with Hall Effect sensors in the refrigerator wall to verify the pitcher's presence. If these magnets shift or the internal float mechanism becomes stuck, the control board will never receive the 'Ready to Fill' signal. Replacing the entire pitcher ensures the magnetic signature and float buoyancy meet OEM specifications for sensor triggering.

Water Pitcher Docking Assembly (Case-Water)

This assembly houses the fill nozzle and the overfill/moisture sensors. If the overfill sensor becomes corroded or suffers from a logic latch-up due to persistent condensation, it will signal a false 'overflow' state (often associated with Error 76 C/E), which electronically disables the water flow to the pitcher as a flood prevention measure.

Door Wiring Harness Connection

The electrical path for the pitcher's dedicated solenoid and sensors passes through a multi-pin connector at the top of the freezer/refrigerator door hinge. Mechanical stress from repeated door cycles can cause the connector to partially unseat or pins to lose tension, resulting in intermittent power to the beverage center components even if the main water line is functional.
