Carburetor Assembly

The pilot jet and internal idle circuits in these small-displacement carburetors are extremely narrow and prone to varnish buildup. This restriction causes a lean air-fuel mixture at idle, forcing the electronic governor to hunt for stability. Replacing the assembly is the most reliable method to ensure all micro-passages and the integrated stepper motor interface are functioning correctly.

Spark Plug

Fouled or incorrectly gapped spark plugs can cause intermittent combustion misses that the inverter's control logic tries to compensate for by adjusting engine speed. Replacing the plug with a standard NGK BPR6HS or equivalent ensures consistent ignition timing and eliminates electrical interference with the Bluetooth control module.

Carburetor Gasket Kit

An air leak at the intake manifold or between the carburetor and the engine block will introduce 'unmetered air' into the cylinder. This leans out the mixture significantly at idle, causing the engine to surge. New gaskets ensure a vacuum-tight seal, which is critical for the low-pressure fuel draw required at idle speeds.
