40V 6.0 Ah High Capacity Lithium-Ion Battery

The snow blower places a high-amperage continuous load on the battery pack, which generates internal heat through resistance. As lithium-ion cells age or are subjected to extreme temperature fluctuations, their internal resistance rises, leading to thermal spikes that trigger the BMS safety cutoff. Replacing the pack with a high-capacity (6.0Ah or 7.5Ah) HP-series battery provides the necessary current overhead to prevent these thermal trips.

Snow Blower Auger Shear Pins

If the auger is partially obstructed or the shear pins have failed in a way that causes mechanical binding, the brushless motor will draw 'stall current' or near-maximum amperage to maintain RPM. This excessive current draw forces the battery to discharge at a rate that exceeds its thermal dissipation capacity, resulting in an overheat warning.
