Top Lid Assembly
The Braava Jet M6 features a top-loading lid for water tank access that relies on plastic retention tabs (tenons) to stay closed. These tabs are subject to mechanical fatigue and stress-cracking from the robot's impact with baseboards, eventually losing the ability to hold the lid flush against the Hall effect sensor. Replacing the lid assembly restores the magnetic proximity required for the sensor to signal a 'closed' state to the logic board.
