Roku Voice Remote Pro
The volume buttons are side-mounted tactile switches that rely on a different communication frequency (IR) than the rest of the remote (RF). Failure occurs when the mechanical dome switch fails or the internal IR emitter becomes desynchronized from the TV's specific hex codes. Replacing the unit restores the electromechanical interface and allows for a clean HDMI-CEC/IR handshake re-initialization.
