Igniter and Flame Rod Electrode Kit

The flame rod utilizes the principle of flame rectification to confirm ignition; carbon deposits or oxidation on the rod create an insulating layer that prevents the flow of ions. This causes the control board to fail to detect a flame even if one exists, triggering a safety shutdown. Replacing the assembly ensures clean conductivity and proper electrode gap for spark generation.

Gas Control Valve Assembly

This component manages the mechanical flow of fuel into the burner manifold via electromagnetic solenoids. If the internal diaphragm or the solenoid coils fail, the burner receives no fuel despite receiving an ignition spark. Forensic analysis often reveals seized internal plunger mechanisms or burnt-out coil windings.

Spark Igniter Module

The spark igniter module is responsible for converting line voltage into a high-voltage pulse to create the discharge at the electrode. If the internal capacitors or transformer fail, the resulting spark is either non-existent or too weak to achieve the stoichiometric ignition of the gas-air mixture, resulting in Code 11.
