2-Way Inlet Solenoid Valve

The solenoid valve is the primary electromechanical gate for boiler replenishment. Over time, calcium carbonate deposits accumulate on the plunger and orifice, causing the valve to seize in the closed position despite receiving current. When this occurs, the pump may run, but no water reaches the boiler, triggering the safety timeout error.

Boiler Level Probe

The level probe is a simple conductive rod that provides feedback to the ECU once water levels reach its tip. If the probe is heavily coated in non-conductive mineral scale or if the Teflon insulator has failed, the electrical signal cannot reach the control board, even if the boiler is successfully filling, leading to a false timeout error.

Auto-Level Control Board

The control board contains the logic and relays necessary to actuate the fill sequence. A failure of the internal relay responsible for the solenoid coil or the sensing circuit itself will prevent the machine from acknowledging that the boiler is full, though this is less common than mechanical scale-related failures.
