The RadRover 6 Plus utilizes hydraulic brakes with an integrated electronic inhibitor switch. Error 25 signifies that the controller detects the brake switch is closed during startup. This is most commonly caused by a mechanical failure in the lever's return stroke or a localized electrical short in the integrated sensor, which permanently signals the 'braking' state to the controller.

Brake Sensor Wiring Harness (Inline Connector)

Environmental contamination or physical damage to the wiring pins at the harness junction can cause a short circuit. If the signal wire is grounded due to water ingress or a pinched cable, the controller interprets this as an active brake pull, triggering the safety lockout code.

36V/48V Motor Controller

If the brake levers and wiring are verified as functional, the failure logic likely resides in the motor controller's input processing circuit. A blown transistor or logic gate on the controller board can cause a false positive reading of the brake inhibitor circuit, requiring a full replacement of the sealed controller unit.
