Main Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA)
The USB-C charging receptacle is surface-mounted to the main circuit board; repeated mechanical stress or lateral tension causes the solder joints to fracture, severing the electrical path for the VBUS 5V power rail. This mechanical decoupling prevents the charging circuit from receiving current and disrupts the CC (Configuration Channel) pins required for Power Delivery negotiation. Replacing the PCBA provides a new, structurally sound port and restores the integrity of the power management interface.
