Fuel Filter / Water Separator

The Patriot 850 engine is highly sensitive to fuel pressure; a partially restricted filter causes a pressure drop that is exacerbated at high altitudes where the ECU is already struggling to maintain a precise air-fuel ratio. This restriction leads to lean-stumble (bogging) when the injectors demand high flow during high-load powder riding.

Series 10 Clutch Weights (High Altitude Kit)

Internal combustion engines lose approximately 3% of their power for every 1,000 feet of elevation gain. If the drive clutch is still equipped with low-elevation weights, the engine cannot reach the necessary RPM to shift the CVT properly, resulting in a mechanical 'bog' as the engine is lugged down by excessive mass for the available horsepower.

Exhaust Valve Actuator Cable/Gasket Kit

The electronic exhaust valves (e-VES) must modulate precisely to maintain backpressure. At high altitudes, any carbon-induced friction or cable stretch prevents the valves from opening fully or quickly enough, disrupting the scavenging pulse of the two-stroke cycle and causing a significant power hesitation.
