Auger Motor
The jam is caused by the motor's inability to overcome the static friction of the pellet column, often exacerbated by moisture-expanded pellets. If the auger is physically clear but stalls upon the introduction of fuel, the motor's internal gear reduction assembly or electrical windings have likely failed, preventing the delivery of necessary torque. Replacing the motor assembly restores the mechanical advantage required to move the pellet load through the flighting.
