Jog Roller Guide Kit

The jog wheel rotates on a series of specialized plastic rollers. If these rollers become contaminated with debris or experience material fatigue, they can seize or flat-spot, creating enough friction to cause the wheel to feel stuck or significantly resistant to movement.

Jog Tension Adjust Assembly

This assembly controls the physical drag on the platter. A failure in the spring-loaded cam or the friction felt-pad can cause the brake to stay permanently engaged or wedge against the platter's inner rim, preventing rotation.

Internal Jog Platter Base

If the unit has been subjected to vertical impact, the internal plastic support structure can warp or fracture. This structural deformation causes the platter to make direct contact with the chassis (housing), resulting in a complete mechanical bind.
