3-Amp ATD/ATC Fuse

This automotive-style fuse is the primary protection for the secondary side of the transformer. It statistically fails when a 24VAC component, such as a valve actuator or a shorted relay coil, draws excessive current. If this fuse is 'blown' (open circuit), the logic board receives no power, resulting in a completely blank display.

Power Center Transformer

The transformer steps down 120/240VAC to the 24VAC required for the control board. Internal thermal fuses or winding insulation breakdown—often caused by environmental heat or electrical surges—will lead to a loss of secondary voltage output. Without the 24VAC input, the rectifiers on the control board cannot generate the DC voltage needed to drive the LCD.

EasyTouch Main Circuit Board (8-Circuit)

If input power is confirmed, the failure is localized to the logic board's voltage regulation stage or the LCD ribbon connector. Over time, electrolytic capacitors on the board degrade, causing ripple voltage that prevents the logic controller from executing its boot sequence, leaving the screen in an uninitialized (blank) state.
