1/4" TRS Stereo Switching Jack (PCB Mount)
The headphone jack is a mechanical component prone to 'creep' and contact fatigue. In this model, the jack must maintain physical tension to bridge the signal from the preamp/CabSim circuit to the headphone terminals; if the internal leaf springs lose tension or become oxidized, the signal path remains open. Replacing the jack restores the physical and electrical bridge necessary for signal transmission.

Main PCB Assembly
If the mechanical stress of a heavy headphone cable has physically torn the copper traces away from the fiberglass substrate of the circuit board, component-level replacement of the jack may be impossible. In such cases of structural substrate failure, the entire power-preamp board must be replaced to restore signal continuity.
