Firmware Update v2.0 or Higher
VCA bleed is statistically most often a software-calibration ceiling issue rather than a physical component failure. Firmware v2.0 introduced an 'enhanced calibration' routine that specifically targets the DC offset of the analog VCAs across all 16 voices. This update allows the internal logic to apply a wider range of corrective voltage to the analog gates to ensure total silence when idle.

Main Voice Board Assembly
If the internal software calibration fails to null the bleed, the physical analog transistors or operational amplifiers on the voice board have likely experienced a 'hard' drift. This occurs when the component's electrical characteristics move so far out of spec that the digital control system can no longer provide enough counter-voltage to close the VCA. Replacing the board provides a fresh set of matched analog components within the acceptable tolerance range.
