This is the official OEM solution for systems lacking a C-wire. It acts as a bypass that provides a dedicated path for the thermostat's charging current, preventing the 'power-stealing' pulses from reaching the HVAC control board and triggering false cooling calls.

24V AC C-Wire Adapter Transformer

This external power supply provides a continuous 24VAC current directly to the 'C' and 'Rh' terminals. By providing a dedicated power source, it eliminates the need for the thermostat to 'steal' power from the cooling circuit, thereby stabilizing the signal to the AC compressor.

HVAC Air Filter (MERV 8)

In cases where short-cycling occurs during high-demand cooling, restricted airflow from a dirty filter causes the evaporator coil to drop below freezing or the high-pressure switch to trip. This forces the system to shut down for safety before the thermostat reaches its setpoint.
