Replacing the modules with a specific kit from the Asus Qualified Vendor List (QVL) ensures compatibility with the motherboard's memory controller timings.

CR2032 3V Lithium Battery

Corruption in the CMOS/BIOS state or a depleted battery can cause the motherboard to hang during the Power-On Self-Test (POST) sequence. A fresh battery allows the system to maintain stable BIOS settings and clear any persistent low-level instruction errors that prevent the boot sequence from completing.
