Waterproof System (WPS) Inlet Hose

The WPS hose contains the safety solenoids that shut off water at the tap. If the internal diaphragm or solenoid housing within the hose head fails, it can leak into the protective outer sleeve or cause the safety mechanism to lock, resulting in an F0220 error and a Waterproof system lockout.

Water Inlet Valve (Internal 3-Way)

Cracks in the internal solenoid valve body can allow water to drip slowly into the bottom tray during the fill cycle. Once the accumulated water reaches the float switch threshold, the machine enters a 'Waterproof' fault state and halts all intake operations.

Drain Pump Filter O-Ring/Seal

A common mechanical failure point is a degraded or improperly seated O-ring on the drain pump fluff filter. If this seal fails, water leaks directly into the base pan during the drain phase, eventually triggering the float switch and the resulting inlet-related fault codes.
