Drain Pump

The integrated radial shaft seal within the drain pump can degrade due to thermal cycling and chemical exposure. Once compromised, water migrates along the motor shaft into the dry base pan, lifting the polystyrene float and triggering the F70 safety state. Replacing the pump restores the hermetic seal of the drainage path.

Non-Return Valve

This valve prevents wastewater from siphoning back into the sump. If the internal flap or seal fails due to debris or calcification, hydrostatic pressure can cause a slow leak or overflow from the sump assembly into the safety pan during or after a cycle. A new valve ensures one-way fluid dynamics and prevents tray accumulation.

Circulation Pump and Motor Assembly

As the primary driver of high-pressure water, the circulation pump's central gasket is a critical failure point. High-velocity water escaping from this seal immediately collects in the lowest point of the chassis. Due to the high-RPM nature of the component, even a microscopic fissure in the housing or seal will rapidly trigger the Waterproof System.
