Washer Shift Actuator

The shift actuator is the primary component responsible for shifting the drive system from agitation to spin mode. It contains a synchronous motor and an optical tachometer; if the sensor fails to report the basket speed or the motor fails to move the splutch cam, the washer will stall during the transition to spin.
