The stock throttle servo lacks the necessary holding torque and thermal dissipation to handle the combined load of engine throttle and heavy-duty mechanical braking. This waterproof digital upgrade features steel gears and a heat-sink middle case to prevent the thermal shutdown and gear stripping common in 1/5 scale applications. It provides the sustained torque required to maintain brake pressure without entering a high-current stall state.

CNC Aluminum Throttle Servo Arm

The factory plastic servo arm undergoes significant elastic deformation (flexing) under braking loads, which prevents the servo from reaching its programmed endpoint. This causes the servo motor to constantly hunt for its position, drawing excessive current and overheating the internal electronics. A rigid aluminum arm ensures 1:1 motion transfer and eliminates the mechanical slop that contributes to electrical failure.
