Door Lock Switch Assembly

Water Level Pressure Switch

This sensor converts air pressure from the tub into a frequency signal for the control board. If the sensor is stuck in a 'high frequency' state, the machine's firmware interprets this as the tub being full of water, which triggers a safety lockout of the door latch to prevent a flood. Drain Pump Motor Assembly

If the washer fails to evacuate water effectively during the final spin phase, the logic controller will not release the door. Mechanical failure of the pump impeller or electrical failure of the motor windings leads to standing water in the sump; until the water level drops below the physical door threshold as reported by the pressure sensor, the door lock will remain energized.
