VESA Certified DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

DisplayPort 'No Signal' errors are most frequently caused by a failure in 'Link Training,' where the cable cannot sustain the required bandwidth for high-refresh-rate gaming. A VESA-certified 1.4 cable ensures proper shielding and pin-20 isolation, preventing signal noise from interrupting the EDID handshake. This is the primary mechanical failure point for high-resolution digital interfaces.

Monitor Main Logic Board

The Main Logic (AD) Board houses the scaler and the DP receiver chip responsible for interpreting the GPU signal. If a 'No Signal' state persists across multiple cables, the DP controller on this board has likely experienced a hardware failure or a corrupted EEPROM which prevents it from sending the 'Hot Plug Detect' signal to the computer. Replacing the board restores the physical interface ports and processing logic.

External AC/DC Power Adapter

Stable DC voltage is critical for the logic board to maintain a digital link. If the external power brick experiences capacitor aging, it may provide enough current to light the backlight and OSD, but fail to provide the stable 19V required for the high-frequency DP controller to maintain a lock. This results in intermittent signal loss or a permanent 'No Signal' state.
