Power Supply Board (PCB Assembly)

The Power Supply Board is responsible for converting AC to the DC voltages required for the Main Board and the panel's T-CON circuitry. A failure in the electrolytic capacitors or the switching MOSFETs on this board prevents the unit from sustaining the power-on sequence, causing the protection relay to trip and the standby light to blink. Replacing the board restores the necessary voltage rails to the TV's internal components.

Main Logic Board

If the Power Supply Board is functional, the Main Board may be failing to send the 'Power_On' signal or may have a shorted processor that forces the PSU into protection mode. The blinking light can indicate a communication error between the System-on-Chip (SoC) and the power management system. Replacing the Main Board is the standard resolution when power rails are confirmed stable.

TV Power Cord

While less common, a partially damaged or frayed power cord can cause high resistance, preventing sufficient current draw during the high-demand startup phase. This can lead to a voltage sag that triggers the TV's internal safety shutdown, manifesting as a blinking red light.
