Over time, the damping properties degrade, allowing the tub to 'bounce' excessively even with a balanced load. Replacing the set restores the original damping coefficient required for high-speed spin stability.

Tub Shock Absorber

On front-load ThinQ models, these absorbers are mounted to the base and the outer tub to dissipate vibration. Internal seal failure or loss of friction resistance leads to uncontrolled tub movement during the transition from low-speed agitation to high-speed extraction, triggering the UE vibration sensor.

Rotor Mounting Nut
