Rotor Position Sensor (Hall Sensor)

The Hall sensor monitors the magnetic field of the rotor to report RPM and position to the control board. If the sensor fails, the board cannot synchronize the phasing of the stator windings to initiate rotation, resulting in a 'locked motor' state and the LE code. This is a solid-state component prone to failure from thermal cycling and vibration.

Stator Wiring Harness

The constant movement and vibration of the wash tub can cause mechanical fatigue in the wiring harness, particularly at the connector leading to the stator. A broken wire in the sensor feedback loop or the stator power supply line will cause the motor to stall or fail to start, triggering the LE error.

Main Power Control Board

The Main PCB contains the Motor Control Unit (MCU) and inverter circuit that converts household AC to DC pulses for the drive motor. If the board's internal relay or the silicon-controlled rectifiers (SCRs) fail, the motor will receive improper voltage or no voltage at all, resulting in a failure to turn and a secondary LE error code.
