Dryer Drive Belt
The drive belt is a high-wear rubber component that transfers torque from the motor pulley to the drum. Over time, it can fray or snap due to heat and friction. When it breaks, the motor may still run (producing a humming sound), but the drum will remain stationary.

Dryer Door Switch
This switch is a critical safety interlock that completes the electrical circuit to the motor only when the door is fully latched. If the internal contacts fail or the plastic actuator snaps, the control board will not allow the motor to start, resulting in a drum that does not turn when the start button is pressed.

Dryer Drive Motor
The drive motor is the prime mover for the drum. Failure modes include a seized bearing, blown internal windings, or a faulty centrifugal switch. If the motor is 'restricted' (as noted in the search data), it will fail to initiate rotation even if voltage is present.
