The D80 error code specifically indicates an 80% blockage in the exhaust path. Over time, lint accumulates in the internal wall ducting, reducing the velocity of the hot air being expelled. This kit allows for the mechanical removal of lint buildup throughout the entire length of the home's ventilation system, restoring proper airflow.

Semi-Rigid Aluminum Transition Duct

The flexible foil transition hoses often found behind dryers are prone to kinking or collapsing when the unit is pushed back against the wall. A collapse creates a high-pressure zone that triggers the Flow Sense alarm. Replacing a crushed foil hose with a semi-rigid aluminum duct prevents future collapses and improves exhaust laminar flow.

Lint Filter Assembly
