Internal EDP Video Cable

The EDP cable transmits the video signal from the motherboard to the LCD panel through the laptop hinge. Over time, the mechanical stress of opening and closing the lid causes micro-fractures in the internal wiring or loosens the connector seating. Replacing this cable restores a stable electrical path and eliminates flicker caused by signal attenuation.

Replacement LCD Panel

If the flicker is consistent regardless of the lid's angle, the failure is likely internal to the LCD panel's gate drivers or the LED backlight strip. Since these sub-components are bonded to the glass and non-serviceable, a full panel replacement is the required resolution for hardware-level display degradation.

Graphics Driver / BIOS Update Service
