Electronic Oil Pump
The TPI oil pump is a high-precision electronic metering device with a finite service life of approximately 80 operating hours. Mechanical wear of the internal reciprocating components or the integrated check valve leads to a loss of lubrication pressure, which the ECU may not immediately detect via electrical resistance checks.
