Battery Holder Assembly and Cover Upgrade Kit

Manufacturer-identified design flaw where the original housing lacked adequate moisture shielding. This upgraded assembly prevents condensation from infiltrating the battery contact points and electronic control module, which previously caused 'phantom' shorting and erroneous flush triggers.

Refill Hose / Tube Clip

Improperly seated refill hoses cause water to splash against the tank lid during the fill cycle. The resulting turbulent surface or lid droplets reflect the sensor's signal back to the receiver, leading the module to interpret the splash as a hand actuation.

Flush Valve Seal / Flapper

Standard mechanical degradation of the seal allows water to leak from the tank into the bowl. While this is 'phantom running' rather than 'random flushing,' users often conflate the two; however, a significant drop in water level may also trigger fill-valve turbulence that disturbs the touchless sensor module.
