Blade Bolt and Outer Flange Kit
The outer flange is essential for distributing the clamping force from the bolt across the blade surface. If this flange is missing or deformed, the bolt cannot maintain sufficient tension to counteract the centrifugal forces and vibrations during high-speed rotation. This lack of clamping force allows the blade bolt (often left-hand threaded) to back out of the arbor, resulting in the blade detaching from the tool.
