Water Inlet Valve (Dual Solenoid)

This valve features two solenoids: one for the water dispenser and one for the icemaker. Over time, the icemaker solenoid coil often fails electrically or the internal diaphragm becomes clogged with mineral deposits, preventing water from reaching the icemaker mold even if the water dispenser continues to work.

Icemaker Assembly

The modular 8-cube icemaker contains a motor and a thermostat that initiates the harvest cycle. If the internal heater fails to release the cubes or the thermostat fails to sense the mold temperature, the unit will stop cycling; replacing the entire assembly is the industry-standard fix for internal mechanical or electrical timing failures.

Ice Level Power Board Kit

Kenmore side-by-side units use an infrared emitter and receiver board to detect ice levels. If either board fails due to moisture intrusion or component degradation, the system defaults to 'Bin Full' status and disables the icemaker entirely, even if the bin is empty.
