High-Current 9V DC Power Supply (2.0A+)
The Profiler Player requires a high-amperage power source to maintain the integrity of its digital logic gates and analog-to-digital buffers. When current delivery falls below the 2000mA threshold, the internal voltage regulators suffer from thermal instability or voltage sag, leading to a processor halt. This system crash is visually communicated via the LED rings defaulting to red, indicating the DSP is no longer executing its operational loop.

Main Logic PCB Assembly
If the power supply is verified as sufficient, a persistent red light indicates a failure of the internal flash memory or a physical defect in the surface-mounted DSP chip. This hardware failure prevents the device from completing its Power-On Self-Test (POST), locking the user interface in an error state to protect the output stages from producing a DC offset.
