LCD Display Module Assembly
The backlight is integrated into the LCD panel as a series of LEDs. A failure in the panel's internal substrate or the failure of a single LED in the string will break the circuit, resulting in a dark display even if the logic processing remains active.

Main Control Board
The logic board contains the step-up converter and driver IC that provides the necessary forward voltage to the backlight LEDs. If the driver IC or its associated smoothing capacitors fail due to surge or heat, the backlight will receive no power.
