Action Pod for GO 3

The Action Pod contains the primary battery cells and the charging controller responsible for power delivery to the camera. Failure in the internal pogo-pin alignment or a fault in the charging regulation circuit prevents the pod from identifying and energizing the camera module. Replacing the pod provides a new contact interface and power management system.

GO 3 Camera Module

The camera unit itself contains gold-plated contact pads that receive the charge. If these pads suffer from deep pitting or the internal lithium-ion cell has reached a state of deep discharge from which the BMS cannot recover, the camera will fail to accept a charge from the Action Pod even if the pod is functional.
