Hydrow Monitor Assembly
The WiFi transceiver is a surface-mounted component on the internal PCB that is susceptible to solder joint failure caused by the harmonic vibrations inherent in rowing. If internal software resets fail, the hardware failure usually involves the integrated chipset or the internal antenna array becoming unseated. Because the monitor is a non-serviceable sealed unit, the entire assembly must be replaced to restore the wireless communication layer.
