Charging Station Circuit Board

When the charging station displays a solid green LED, the loop continuity circuit is satisfied, meaning there is no physical break in the boundary wire. However, if the mower cannot detect a signal, the signal modulation component on the station's PCB has failed, preventing the transmission of the digital pulse code required for operation. This specific failure state—continuity without signal—is a known failure mode of the internal charging station electronics.

Mower Loop Sensor (Front)

If the charging station is confirmed to be generating a valid signal, the failure may reside in the mower's internal reception hardware. The front loop sensor is a dedicated induction coil that translates the magnetic field of the boundary wire into digital data; if this coil's windings are compromised or the connector is corroded, the mower will report a missing signal despite the station functioning correctly.
