The blinking red LED indicates a critical failure of the internal self-diagnostic test, most commonly a mechanical motor stall or a laser diode malfunction. These components are responsible for the precise spatial tracking of the VR environment and cannot be individually recalibrated or replaced outside of the factory environment. Replacing the full assembly restores the infrared sweeping mechanism required for spatial telemetry.
