The Spectre x360 uses highly integrated voltage regulator modules (VRMs) to manage CPU C-states. A WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR is a physical hardware failure often caused by a voltage drop on a core rail; since these components are non-serviceable and soldered to the board, a full board replacement is the only reliable fix.

M.2 NVMe Solid State Drive

If the BSOD occurs during sleep/wake transitions and fails to generate a minidump file (stuck at 0%), the SSD controller has likely timed out or crashed. Replacing the storage module resolves PCIe bus communication errors that Windows interprets as uncorrectable hardware failures.

Thermal Cooling Assembly (Heatsink and Fans)

Thin-and-light Spectre chassis are prone to thermal-induced silicon instability. If the fan bearings fail or the thermal paste desiccates, the CPU will hit critical T-junction temperatures, causing the system to throw a hardware-level BSOD to prevent permanent damage to the processor.
