Inverter Unit Assembly

The inverter unit is the central control module for the AC output. If the overload light persists without a load, the internal current-monitoring logic has likely failed or detected an internal short in the power transistors (IGBTs). Because the unit is potted in epoxy, the entire assembly must be replaced to resolve the logic fault.

Stator Assembly

A shorted winding in the stator can produce irregular multi-phase AC input to the inverter. While less common for a permanent overload light, a significant imbalance in the input phases can cause the inverter to trigger a protective fault state to prevent thermal damage to the internal DC bus.

Main Wiring Harness

Physical damage or salt-air corrosion within the wiring harness can create a high-resistance bridge between the output leads and the ground frame. The inverter may interpret this parasitic draw as a continuous overload condition.
