Carburetor Assembly
The pilot jet and internal transition ports in this model are extremely small to meet emission standards, making them highly susceptible to clogging from ethanol-based fuel varnish. When these ports are obstructed, the engine cannot maintain the necessary air-fuel ratio for combustion, resulting in a failure to start or immediate stalling. Replacing the entire assembly is the engineered solution as the internal passages are often non-serviceable with standard cleaners.

Throttle Control Motor (Stepper Motor)
This electronic actuator mechanically adjusts the throttle plate to maintain frequency under load and drop RPMs in Eco Mode. The internal nylon gears can strip or the windings can fail, leaving the throttle plate immobilized in the closed position, which prevents the engine from running or responding to load changes. This is a common point of failure when the engine starts but dies as soon as the Eco Throttle is engaged or a load is applied.

Spark Plug
Inverter generators often run at lower RPMs in Eco Mode, which can lead to carbon fouling of the insulator nose if the unit is run for extended periods under light loads. A fouled plug will fail to provide the high-intensity spark required to ignite the compressed fuel mixture, leading to a 'no-start' condition or intermittent misfiring.
