Main Board
The Main Board houses the Hi-View Engine processor responsible for the local dimming algorithm. A failure in the SoC's timing logic or the LVDS output stage causes the backlight zones to cycle at frequencies perceivable by the human eye rather than staying synchronized with the panel's refresh rate. Replacing the board restores the correct PWM calculation and signaling for the Mini-LED array.

Power Supply Unit (PSU) / LED Driver Board
This board provides the constant current required to drive the Mini-LED backlight zones. If the filter capacitors or the switching MOSFETs on the LED driver circuit degrade, they can cause voltage ripples that manifest as rapid luminance fluctuations (flicker) during high-demand HDR scenes. A new PSU ensures stable, clean DC current is delivered to the backlight array.

T-CON Board
The Timing Controller (T-CON) coordinates the timing between the LCD gate drivers and the backlight. In some architectures, if the T-CON fails to provide an accurate 'V-Sync' or 'Frame Start' signal to the dimming controller, the backlight zones will trigger out of phase with the image, resulting in visible strobing or flickering at the edges of moving objects.
